The Hunt for Schroedinger’s Cat!

This weekend, Collider sat down with Lukas Wilde, one of the creators of this summers breakthrough Independent Comic sensation, The Schroedineers. While there has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming storyline, THE HUNT FOR SCHROEDINGERS CAT, the creators seclusively kept the lid on all rumors. In the interview, Lukas even added to the mystery. Read more after the jump.

Collider: Lukas, let’s start with an easy question: Who is your favorite Schroedineer?

Lukas: That would be me. Since I’m writing the scripts, I’m putting a lot of attention on my own monologues. But I’m growing more and more fascinated by this Felix charakter. He is so witty! I can’t quite get the whole fuzz on the web about Kili.

C.: Interesting! However, after last issue’s final relevation, it sure looks like all three of them are in a lot of trouble. Some commenters observed, while the Schroedineers have been fighting reasonability and facticity for some time now, THE HUNT FOR SCHROEDINGERS CAT could take them out of their waters: The whole storyline is set in the far east, Hong Kong to be precice. Was that decicion stipulated by Kili, who is known to love drawing exotic backgrounds? Or is there some deep connection to the Schroedineers shady past?

L.: In Part. Lukas and Kili both had some experience in handling Hong Kong’s anomalies, improbabilities, even full-grown implausabilities – some years ago! So when they learned that Schroedinger’s Cat has returned and is very much alive, they weren’t really surprised to find all tracks leading to H.K.

C.: However, Felix is the most personally affected. Can you tell us more about the “Schroedinger Singularity” targeted right at his wedding celebrations?

L.: Well, the central theme of the series has definitely been the issue of Temptation. In German they have a word for it, “Hallodrihaftigkeit”. That’s what Felix will be dealing with in the upcoming events.

C.: We’ll be looking forward reading all about it in next month’s issue!
